A massive blockbuster in Kannada cinema last year, the first installment in the two-part series, K.G.F: Chapter 1, has gone on to attain a huge fan following with all sights now set on K. G. F: Chapter 2. Director Prashanth Neel is helming the sequel as well after the astounding success of the first film and once again under Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner with KGF: Chapter 1’s lead star, Yash, reprising his role as Raja Krishnappa Bairya "Rocky" and Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead. With production for KGF: Chapter 2 already underway for quite sometime now, actor Saran Shakti, who played Aishwarya Rajesh’s younger brother in Dhanush’s Vada Chennai, has now been cast in a major supporting role in the upcoming sequel with the news being announced on his Twitter page. Saran Sakthi played an important role in Vada Chennai appearing as Dhanush’s brother-in-law while also being seen in a few crucial moments in the film.
KGF: Chapter 2 has sky-high expectations ever since the first film became a raging box office success with Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt since being announced to be playing the much-hyped Adheera character, who he revealed is extremely dangerous and is just as threatening and menacing as the Thanos character in the Avengers films. Just as with KGF: Chapter 1, we can expect the sequel to be dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages as well.
