Due to the current pandemic situation, the shooting of this biggie has been temporarily stalled and the makers are focussing on the post-production works. As a pleasant surprise for the fans, director Prashanth Neel took to his official Instagram page to share a new update about the film. He put a story on Instagram, revealing that the background music and editing works of the film are progressing side by side in the same studio, in adjacent rooms.

KGF: Chapter 2 is scheduled to hit the screens on October 23 for the Pooja holidays, but looking at the current scenario, there are possibilities for the film getting postponed to a later date.
