Kayal Anandhi recently got married to a co-director in the film industry, Socrates and the wedding happened at Warangal. It was a lowkey event and only selective guests were invited due to the Covid-19 norms and the pandemic situation. The families of the couple were also present. Wishes poured in from all the quarters and many of them were pleasantly surprised after hearing about Anandhi’s wedding news. There were no speculations or rumours before the wedding and so it came as a pleasant surprise for a lot. Following the wedding, Anandhi has now shared her first official statement regarding the marriage. She took to her Twitter page to share her sweet and emotional note, along with two new pictures from the wedding.

Anandhi’s official note read, “When you are confident to spend the rest of your life with someone you love, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. After knowing each other for years, going through every hardship together, we realised we could conquer the world with the support of one another. It gives me immense pleasure to announce my marriage to Mr Socrates which took place on the 7th of January in the presence of my family and loved ones in a small ceremony. All those who could not join us because of the global pandemic were missed,”.

After making an impressive debut in Prabu Solomon's directorial, Kayal, Anandhi later garnered attention among the masses after acting in movies like Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Visaranai, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku, Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, Pariyerum Perumal, Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundnu, etc. She has several interesting projects in the lineup and all the films are in different stages of production. As already said, Alaudhinin Arputha Camera is waiting for a suitable release window. Anandhi plays one of the female leads in Udhayanidhi Stalin's Angel, directed by KS Adhiyaman. She will also be seen as the female lead in director Vikram Sugumaran's (Madha Yaanai Koottam fame) Raavana Kottam starring Shanthnu Bhagyaraj.

In Telugu, Anandhi's next release will be the zombie film, Zombie Reddy, directed by Prasanth Varma. Starring Sajja Teja in the lead role, the trailer of Zombie Reddy was released recently and it opened to good reviews from the fans. The film is scheduled to release in theatres very soon.
