Popular Kannada actress Rishika Singh who is also known as Rohini Singh met with a major car accident and sustained severe injuries. It is reported that Rishika and actor Jai Jagdish's daughter Arpita were returning from a birthday party at night, one of their friends were allegedly driving the car that’s when the driver lost control on the highway as their rammed into a tree. People who were living nearby helped them out and admitted them to a nearby hospital. The car's front bumper has been heavily damaged as shown in the images. Both Rohini and Arpita were injured and have sustained multiple fractures. The accident took place near Mavallipura in Bengaluru. Rohini and Arpita were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are getting treated. It is also reported that their health and mental conditions are stable enough, so there is no severe damage done and they are expected to be discharged in a week’s time.
 
The 30-year-old Rishika Singh was born to a family of film personalities, she happens to be the daughter of Kannada film director Rajendra Singh Babu and granddaughter of Mysore-based film producer Shankar Singh and former Bengali actress Pratima Devi. Her brother Aditya also appears in Kannada films. She is also the niece of Sangram Singh and actors Vijayalakshmi Singh and Jai Jagadish. Rishika Singh made her debut in films in the 2011 Kannada-language film Kanteerava. She then appeared in the multi-starrer comedy film Kalla Malla Sulla in the same year. In 2012, Singh hosted a talk show titled Ragale with Rishika that aired on Zee Kannada. She was one of the contestants in the reality TV show Bigg Boss in its first season. Rishika Singh was engaged to Sandeep, a businessman from Bangalore in December 2012. However, the wedding was called off, following which Singh was hospitalized due to a nervous breakdown in March 2013. Rishika was supposed to make her directorial debut with the film Devayani.
