In a shocking and unexpected turn of events, popular Kannada actress Shanaya Katwe has been arrested by the Police. According to media reports, Shanaya Katwe was arrested by the Hubballi Rural Police in connection to the murder of Rakesh Katwe who happens to be Shanaya's brother. The Police also held 4 other suspects in the case who are identified as Niyazahemed Katigar (21), Tousif Channapur (21). Aman Giraniwale (19), and Altaf Mulla (24). During the police, it has been found that actress Shanaya Katwe was in a relationship with one of the accused, Niyazahemed Katigar.

Reportedly, Shanaya's brother, Rakesh opposed their love and due to the same, Niyazahemed and Shanaya Katwe is said to have plotted the murder. Rakesh Katwe was murdered in his house and his body was chopped into pieces by the four accused. His different body parts were allegedly dumped across various places in and around the city. Actress Shanaya Katwe has now been arrested and sent to the judicial custody. Further details regarding the murder case are awaited. This news has come as a big shocker for the fans and it has shaken the members of the Kannada film fraternity.
