The shooting of Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi resumed a few days before and the Queen actress shared pictures of her getting ready for the shoot. Having said that, the schedule has now been completed and marking the good development, Kangana has shared two new photos from the film and it looks great. We have to say that the makers have come close to Jayalalitha’s looks and attitude and hope the same is reflected through Kangana’s performance as well. It looks like this schedule dealt with the scenes inside the legislative assembly as the pictures suggest. The pictures are doing good rounds on social media since this morning.

Kangana Ranaut shared the new pictures and wrote, “With the blessings of Jaya Ma we completed one more schedule of Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader. After corona many things are different but between action and before cut nothing changes. Thank you team @vishinduri @ShaaileshRSingh #ALVijay”. Details regarding the next schedule are yet to be known and we will update you about it in the coming weeks. Thalaivi is the biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha and it has got huge expectations among the people of the state.

Directed by Vijay, Thalaivi will feature Arvind Swami playing the role of MGR and his makeover as the legendary actor turned politician created a huge buzz on social media. Arvind Swami’s makeover as MGR received a great response from the fans. The film’s star cast also includes Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, Poorna, Madhoo, Bhagyashree, and others. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh under the banner of Vibri Media, this film has music scored by GV Prakash who shares a super track record with director Vijay. Talking about the film’s music in a recent live video, GV Prakash had said, “The music of Thalaivi will definitely be talked about. We have tried to recreate the retro feel with the tunes, visuals, and the dance. Kangana is an extraordinary actor and with Vijay’s direction, I am sure the film is going to come out really well. I am so excited,”.

Legendary writer KV Vijayendra Prasad has penned the film's screenplay and his expertise would prove to be a great support for the team of Thalaivi. The film is made as a bilingual in Tamil and Hindi while it will have a dubbed release in other languages. The film's release date will be decided during the final stages of filming.
