Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, who was last seen in the Telugu film, Ranarangam, is now gearing up for the release of her debut Tamil film, Hero, which is scheduled to hit the screens on December 20. This P.S.Mithran directorial features Sivakarthikeyan as the protagonist and has got high expectations from fans. Meanwhile, Kalyani has officially announced her next film which she labels it to be her dream project. The announcement was about her next Malayalam film titled Hridayam and it will star Mohanlal's son Pranav Mohanlal as the male lead.

Pranav and Kalyani are close friends who share a very good rapport and this will be the first time the duo would be sharing screen space together. The film will be directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan who is also a popular actor, singer and producer. Vineeth's last directorial venture was Jacobinte Swargarajyam that starred Nivin Pauly in the lead role.

The fans have already got excited about this project because of the freshness in the combination and the film is expected to be a soulful romantic drama. Hridayam will be produced by Visakh Subramaniam's Merryland Cinemas. The makers have announced that the film will hit the screens for Onam 2020. This film will be Pranav's third outing as a lead actor after Aadhi and Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu. Stay tuned for more updates.
