CONTROVERSY: Godman Web Series Teaser/Trailer Removed from all platforms!

Godman is an upcoming Tamil web series that stars Jayaprakash, Daniel Balaji, Sonia Agarwal, and Tanya Desai in the lead roles. The teaser of this web series was released a few days back and it created a huge controversy on social media. The teaser had a few dialogues and visuals that hurt the sentiments of a particular community and people started to condemn the teaser. Hatred began to increase due to this teaser and there was a strong opposition to this web series and it's makers.

Even directors like Arun Vaidyanathan (of Nibunan, Achamundu Achamundu fame) expressed that the teaser was not in a good taste. Cases were also filed against the team of Godman for the same. Following all the controversies, the makers of Godman have now removed the teaser from all platforms. The series, which is to stream on Zee 5 platform, is scheduled to release on June 12, in another two weeks.

However, due to the current controversies surrounding the teaser, it is not clear if the series will release as per the initial plan. We will also have to wait for a few more days to know if the makers have cut or removed any scenes from the series that were condemned.
