Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya is making his big Bollywood debut with the film Laal Singh Chaddha. His character poster from the film just dropped and he is looking more than handsome. Naga Chaitanya will be playing the role of Balaraju from the village of Bodipalem in Andhra Pradesh.
The poster features Naga as the persona he will be playing in the movie - a soldier. The makers of the film took to their Twitter handle to release the official first look character poster of his. Along with the image, they also attached a caption to it that read, “Introducing Balaraju from Bodipalem… played by Chaitanya Akkineni! Love you our Yuva Samrat!” Check it out:

In a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya opened up about being a part of this highly anticipated film and all the things he learned from Aamir Khan. He said, "One thing is for sure that, what I have learnt in last 12 years, I learnt from him in 45 days. He has taught me more than that. He’s got this amazing magic that he can rub off, influence people without even trying.”
In the film, Naga is Aamir Khan’s friend while serving in the army together. We have already seen glimpses of Naga and Aamir share the screen in the many glimpses, trailer, and songs from the film.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. It is the remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump. The film stars Aamir Khan in the titular role along with Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh in supporting roles. The film is scheduled for release on 11 August 2022.
