The United States of America has been the worst-affected nation on the planet due to the COVID-19 outbreak, which has so far left over 1.7 million people in the country to test positive for the highly infectious disease. President Trump has been facing huge criticism from opposition political leaders, the people and political analysts across the country over his handling of the coronavirus crisis and also for not wearing a mask in public despite advice from his administration.
Almost one-third of the deaths due to the novel coronavirus in the US have been seen in the world’s financial capital of New York and neighboring New Jersey and Connecticut, which has led to a complete fallout on the American economy taking the nation to a state of recession as over 35 million have lost their jobs during the course of the last three months.
