Social distancing is said to be the only way to prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus and all the people are being requested to practice it. However, some people like doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, paramedics, sanitation workers and a few others are risking their lives by being at the forefront of the fight against the Corona virus and are treating the infected patients, night & day! There have been incidents where such health workers have been persecuted by their neighbours and have even been abused and attacked at places. However, the majority of the population remaing thankful to these living gods, without whom we would all be suffering even more!

It has now come to light that the doctors and other health workers of the COVID ward in the Kilpauk Medical College & Hospital, in Chennai, have opted to remain back at the campus after work, to prevent the spread of the Virus to their loved ones at home. The Dean of the College has revealed that the doctors, nurses & all the paramedical staff working in the main COVID-19 ward of the college, have been given all Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) including N95 masks but that they are staying back to protect their families. The dedication of these selfless medical professionals, is being hailed by many! Way to go folks!
