Exclusive: Director Nelson updates on the progress of Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor

Doctor would be Sivakarthikeyan’s next release after Hero and the fans have great expectations over the film. Directed by Nelson of Kolamaavu Kokila fame, Doctor has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan. Talking about the star cast, Doctor features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, while Vinay, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley form the supporting cast. The film’s shooting has been stalled temporarily due to the current pandemic situation and it will resume once things get back to normalcy.

Meanwhile, we got in touch with director Nelson to know about the progress of the film. He said, “We have been editing the scenes that we have shot so far. We haven’t planned the next schedule yet and it will be done based on the Government’s orders. We will get a clear picture only by then. For now, we are just concentrating on the editing works of the film.”

This also means that the film's theatrical release plans will also be based upon the shooting plans. It is said that the majority of the film’s shooting is completed and the team has just a few more days of shoot left. Produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions in association with KJR Studios, Doctor is said to be an action comedy drama that has been shot in Chennai and Goa.
