Suriya is all set to team up with Hari once again for a rural action family entertainer on the lines of Vel. They have previously worked in films like Aaru, Vel, Singam 1, 2 and 3. This untitled flick will be their sixth collaboration. Though an official announcement for the project has not been made yet it is almost confirmed that this will be Suriya’s next film after Soorarai Pottru which is in its post-production phase. Soorarai Pottru which was initially planned for a December release is now reportedly pushed to Summer 2020 release.

Hari and Suriya project will either be produced by Sun Pictures or 2D Entertainment. Now we have a breaking news on the music director of the film. GV Prakash and D Imman were considered by the makers to score music but it looks D Imman is now the front runner to score the tunes but he is yet to sign the agreement. D Imman has also been signed in for Suriya’s another film directed by Siva. It must be noted that D Imman has never worked with Suriya and Hari before. This will be his first collaboration with both. D Imman is having a great year thus far with 2 out of his 4 films (Viswasam and Namma Veettu Pillai) turning out to be blockbusters at the box office.
