Likewise, 19 people from Ariyalur, 7 hailing from Cuddalore and one individual from Perambalur have as well tested positive for the COVID-19 virus as all 27 were loadmen or vendors working at the Koyambedu market in Chennai. The Ariyalur district administration has moved the seven individuals from the district to self-isolation at the Rajah Muthiah Medical College in Annamalai University. With Ariyalur now being pushed from being in the Orange zone to the Red zone, more than 200 people from Cuddalore have been moved to quarantine.
