One of the most talented and highly versatile stars of Indian Cinema - Chiyaan Vikram was last seen on screens in the 2019 movie Kadaram Kondan. After that, it was announced that Vikram would be joining hands with Imaikkaa Nodigal director Ajay Gnanamuthu for Cobra. Bankrolled by Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio, this movie has music by AR Rahman. During an exclusive interaction with Galatta, Ajay Gnanamuthu talks about the music of Cobra and also revealed the film will have 5 songs, 2 have been completed, 2 needs to be recorded and one track hasn’t found its shape yet. When asked about the first single, Ajay revealed that the song will be titled Thumbi Thullal which is will be a romantic number. The team is already floored hearing the song and he is waiting for the audience to listen to it. 
 
Talking more about Thumbi Thullal, Ajay said, “it a song that talks about a cultural festival in Kerala. It’s an art form, mostly that will be the first single. Since it is a song set in Kerala, we wanted to coin a fresh term. It is a celebration song, so there was a research and that’s when we came across this term which is an art form which is full of happiness.”
