Popular VJ turned actor Rio Raj is currently inside the Bigg Boss house and he has garnered good attention in the first one month of the show. Rio's activities and character inside the house has received a mixed response from the people of Tamil Nadu. We will have to wait for the next few weeks to see how he approaches the game in the coming days. Rio has not been nominated in this week's eviction which makes it a point that he would be inside the house for the next few days.

Meanwhile, Rio has unfortunately lost a member from his family. Rio's wife, Sruthi took to her official Instagram page to share the news that their pet dog passed away on November 2. She posted pictures of her pet dog, Rufus and penned an emotional note for him. She sounded very emotional and heartbroken about Rufus' demise. Sharing the pictures of the pet dog, Sruthi wrote, "We lost rufus today.. he would have turned 16 this December. My first pet. My brother. Our family. He taught us what unconditional love is, how precious life is. He lost his eyesight, his hearing when he turned 11 but he still had the zest to live in him. He was a survivor. We will miss you my darling! U Will always live with us forever. I’m sure he is in a much better place now and I’m sure he is playing with all a lot of fairy dogs and cats ☺️ . We love you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️".

Rio and Sruthi's fans and well-wishers are expressing their condolences on Sruthi's post. Below Sruthi's post, one of Balaji's (Murugadoss) fans commented, 'bb4 house ulaium onu iruku', indirectly taking a dig at Rio. Sruthi lost her cool and immediately slammed the user for his comment. Sruthi commented, "@balaji_army_fc what is wrong with ppl like u???? How can u come and post rubbish like this when someone is mourning their loss??? What are u guys? Heartless or something???". However, in a few minutes, Sruthi removed her comment and the fans' comment from her post and it looks like she did not want to blow up the issue.
