Bigg Boss 3 fame Losliya's father Mariyanesan passed away on the night of November 15 and ever since the news came out, the fans and Losliya's well-wishers have been sharing their condolence messages on social media. Reportedly, Mariyanesan passed away due to a heart attack and his mortal remains is currently in Canada. It is not yet clearly known if his body has been sent to Sri Lanka where Losliya and her family reside. Vanitha, one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 3, had shared that Vijay Television and other participants of the show are helping Losliya and also added that Losliya is devastated by the current situation. Vanitha's statement came as a heartbreaker for the fans and her tweets went viral on social media.

Director Cheran, who was like a father figure to Losliya, shared his condolence message on his Twitter page. Following that, actress and Bigg Boss 3 contestant, Abhirami Venkatachalam has now mourned the demise of Mariyanesan on her official Instagram page. Abhirami posted a story on her page which read, "I can no longer see you with my eyes or touch your feet with my hands, but I will remember you in my heart for ever... you will be missed mariyanesan Appa".

This emotional statement from Abhirami has gone viral among the fans. It is a known fact that Losliya and Abhirami are very good friends who developed a great bonding during the show. Abhirami also made her profile picture into a black colour picture, marking Mariyanesan's demise. Mariyanesan garnered huge attention among the Tamil people when he appeared in Bigg Boss 3 for the first time. His surprise entry inside the house made Losliya break down emotionally and those scenes can never be forgotten by the audience.

As soon as he entered the house, Mariyanesan had condemned Losliya for her relationship with Kavin and told her that the family had sent her inside the house for playing the game and not anything else.
