AVM Productions is an iconic production house in Tamil cinema that is closely associated with the people of Tamil Nadu for many years. The highly celebrated production house has delivered several blockbuster hit films in Tamil and the long list includes Parasakthi, Sathya Sodhanai, Andha Naal, Kalathur Kannamma, Server Sundaram, Kakkum Karangal, Anbe Vaa, Adhe Kangal, Uyarndha Manidhan, Enga Mama, Murattu Kaalai, Pokkiri Raja, Sakalakala Vallavan, Paayum Puli, Mundhanai Mudichu, Thoongathey Thambi Thoongathey, Pudhumai Penn, Nallavanukku Nallavan, Uyandha Ullam, Mr Bharath, Samsaram Adhu Minsaram, Manithan, Paatti Sollai Thattathe, Raja Chinna Roja, Ejamaan, Minsara Kanavu, Gemini, Sivaji The Boss, Ayan, Vettikaaran, etc.

The esteemed production house's last venture in Tamil cinema was Mudhal Idam (starring Vidhaarth) which released in 2011. The production banner did not bankroll any other project since then (except the independent YouTube film, Idhuvum Kadandhu Pogum). After a long break, AVM Productions is back in business and for the first time, the company will be venturing into the digital space. Yes! AVM Productions will be producing a Tamil web series that will be directed by Arivazhagan, who is known for making movies like Eeram, Vallinam, Kuttram 23, and more. This web series will stream on the Sony LIV OTT platform. Titled Tamil Stalkers, this Tamil web series is said to be an intriguing crime thriller that is inspired from several real life incidents.

According to the official statement from the makers, Tamil Stalkers will dwelve into the dark reality behind the content piracy that prevails in the Tamil film inudstry. The series was officially launched recently and details regarding the star cast and crew are yet to be announced. The series will be available to stream on Sony LIV platform by the end of this year. The series will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
