Ashok Selvan recently tasted success with his breezy romantic drama, Oh My Kadavule, which received unanimously positive reviews. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film also starred Ritika Singh, Vani Bhojan, Sha Ra, and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi (in an extended cameo). The young talent will next be seen in ace director Priyadarshan's historical epic, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which is a multistarrer featuring Mohanlal, Action King Arjun, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Kichcha Sudeep, Nedumudi Venu, and others.

Meanwhile, details about his next Tamil film have been revealed. Ashok Selvan will be teaming up with director P Ramesh for a new film and it is said to be a new-age thriller. Ashok and Ramesh have already worked together in the sleeper hit, Thegidi, which gave a breakthrough for both of them. Their reunion has given a good hope among the film buffs and director Ramesh is right now busy with the pre-production works of the film.
