VERA LEVEL: Premam director Alphonse Puthren announces his next with this leading hero!

Director Alphonse Puthren became one of the most promising directors of this generation through his musical romantic drama, Premam that starred Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. The film turned out to be a huge hit among the fans and it turned out to be an important project for everyone who worked in that film. Premam was a blockbuster hit not just in Kerala, but also in Chennai and among the Tamil audience. Ever since the success of Premam, Alphonse Puthren’s fans across the country have been eagerly waiting to hear about his next venture. There were various speculations but nothing turned out to be official. In one of his earlier interviews, Alphonse revealed that he had discussions with various actors for different projects, but nothing materialized due to various reasons.

However, this time, we have got an exciting official update. Alphonse Puthren will be teaming up with none other than actor Fahadh Faasil for his next directorial and this will be a musical subject to be made in Malayalam. Interestingly, apart from writing and directing, Alphonse will also make his debut as a music composer with this film which is titled Paattu (meaning - a song). It can be recalled that the Premam director revealed in one of his earlier interviews that he has been learning music for his new film.

Alphonse took to his Facebook page to share this good news with his followers and well wishers. He wrote, “My next feature film’s name is Paattu (song). Fahadh Faasil is the Hero of the feature. Produced by UGM Entertainments (Zacharia Thomas and Alwin Antony). This time I’ll be doing music too. It will be in Malayalam language. Will update rest of the Crew and Cast members while the feature film progresses.”. This update from Alphonse has excited the fans to a great extent and the collaboration sounds fresh.

When a fantastic performer like Fahadh Faasil is at the front, one can be sure that the film will be high on performance and energy. Alphonse is also known for writing scenes that appeal to the masses with a neat presentation and let us hope that he makes his third directorial venture a memorable one. Fahadh Faasil also has various exciting projects in his kitty and Paattu has now added up to the excitement. Fahadh has earned a humongous fan base in the recent past with films like Kumbalangi Nights, Trance, and C U Soon and he’d be looking forward to continuing that with Paattu as well.
