Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for his next biggie - Pushpa that is being made as a pan-Indian film. Pushpa will feature Allu Arjun in an interesting rugged makeover and the film is expected to showcase him in a never before seen dimension. We have mostly been used to seeing Allu Arjun in stylish and urban centric characters, but Pushpa will be quite different from that. The film is directed by blockbuster filmmaker, Sukumar whose last outing was the Ram Charan - Samantha starrer Rangasthalam. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this action drama has the young and happening actress Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and she is touted to play a village girl’s character for the first time. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad will compose music for the film and the fans are eagerly looking forward to his songs.

The makers of Pushpa have now arrived with an exciting update that has created a huge buzz on social media. The update is that the film is all set to be released in theatres across the globe on August 13, ahead of the Independence Day weekend. Sharing his excitement about this news, Allu Arjun wrote on his official Twitter page, “#PUSHPA loading in theatres from 13th August 2021. Excited to meet you all in cinemas this year.Hoping to create the same magic one more time with dearest @aryasukku & @ThisIsDSP. @iamRashmika @MythriOfficial #PushpaOnAug13”.

Along with the announcement, the makers also released a new picture featuring Allu Arjun and the picture is now doing good rounds on social media. Pushpa will be released in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on the specified date and this development has excited the fans. Now that the theatres have reopened and films like Master have shown positive results with the box office numbers, several notable stars and directors are coming out with the revelation about their respective movies’ release plans.

Recently, we saw director Rajamouli announcing that his movie - RRR will release in theatres on October 13. Now, it is Allu Arjun’s Pushpa which will be out on August 13. Allu Arjun’s previous outing was the Trivikram Srinivas directorial - Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which was a massive hit at the box office.
