A film that has created a huge curiosity among fans in recent times, Adithya Varma, will mark the acting debut of Tamil superstar Chiyaan’ Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram. An official remake of the blockbuster Telugu film, Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda, the Tamil version has been directed by director Sandeep Vanga’s former associate Gireesaya and has Bollywood actress Banita Sandhu playing the female lead and Priya Anand in a cameo appearance. With the Adithya Varma teaser released earlier this week receiving a phenomenal response, Dhruv Vikram took to his Instagram page to post an emotional statement on the occasion of Father's Day expressing his gratitude towards his father and actor Vikram for standing by him throughout the development of the entire film. Adithya Varma’s teaser has turned out to be quite a success among fans who have been complimenting the team for their attempt to stay as true as possible to Arjun Reddy. It is known to all by now that a Hindi remake titled Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani too is all set to release later this week in theatres on June 21. Aditya Varma has plenty of big names attached to the film among whom are cinematographer Ravi K Chandran,Vivek Harshan for the editing and Radhan scoring the music under Mukesh Ratilal Mehta’s E4 Entertainment banner.
Production on Adithya Varma began sometime towards the end of March and all eyes are now on the next plans the team is cooking up regarding the release after the teaser that was launched this week. Although no official statement has come out yet, there are speculations circulating that the film could come out in theatres sometime in July.
