"The most difficult thing about shooting Adithya Varma was..." Dhruv Vikram reveals
A highly anticipated film ever since it kicked off earlier this year, Adithya Varma, coming out in theatres on November 8 will mark the acting debut of Dhruv Vikram; son of National Award-winning actor Vikram. An official remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s cult Telugu blockbuster, Arjun Reddy, the upcoming Tamil remake has been directed by Gireesaya under producer Mukesh Ratilal Mehta’s E4E Entertainment banner and includes Bollywood actress Banita Sandhu as the female lead with Priya Anand in an extended cameo appearance. Expectations for Adithya Varma are sky-high, considering Arjun Reddy’s Hindi remake, Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, released earlier this year and went on to become a box office success as well. With promotions being carried out extensively and the songs in the Adithya Varma album turning out to be chartbusters, Dhruv Vikram, Banita Sandhu and Priya Anand had taken part in an interview with Galatta. During the interview, Dhruv went on to reveal the most difficult aspect of Adithya Varma was shooting the romantic scenes.
Dhruv Vikram stated, “There is a romance scene in the film with Priya Anand in a car, which was my first time shooting such a sequence. My dad was also there giving instructions regarding how I had to perform as we were shooting, which although was quite difficult, we managed to finish it in a nice way.” Banita Sandhu too chimed in narrating her own difficult scene in Adithya Varma and said, “The climax sequence, which was incidentally the first scene I had shot for a period of two days, was difficult for me to perform till date. But, I’m glad it was shot first since I got to get the hardest part of my role out of the way and I could enjoy the shoot,”.
