Babu Ganesh is a popular Tamil actor and director who has worked in several notable movies. He is known for handling several crafts of filmmaking. Babu Ganesh has been credited for story, screenplay, dialogues, music composing, direction, singing, editing, cinematography, acting, special effects, production, dance choreography, stunt choreography, and more. Babu Ganesh made his debut as an actor and director with the Tamil film, Kadal Pura (1993), but he got his first breakthrough after appearing in a supporting role in director Vikraman's Pudhiya Mannargal (1994). He planned a big budget film with actress Khushbu Sundar in 1996 and the duo met Mother Teresa and seeked blessings for the project. However, the film did not take off.

Later, he acted in movies like Madhal Mariyathai, Guest House, Nagalingam, Theerpugal Matrapadalaam, Iravu Padagan, Police Sisters, Plus Koottani, Desiya Paravai, Naane Varuven, Kaattu Pura, and more. Babu Ganesh has now made an important announcement about his personal front.  

Babu Ganesh's son, Rishikanth recently got engaged to Kamali, who is a technical software engineer. The engagement happened recently in the presence of both the families. The wedding has been announced to take place on February 25 at Thiruporur Murugan Temple and it is expected to happen as a low-key event. However, a grand reception will be hosted on February 28 at BMR Mall in Navalur and notable personalities from the film industry are expected to grace the occasion with their presence. Babu Ganesh's son, Rishikanth is a budding actor in Tamil cinema who acted in Sivakarthikeyan's Seemaraja, directed by Ponram. Rishikanth is also a fitness freak and a bodybuilder.

The engagement pictures of Rishikanth and Kamali are now doing rounds on social media and wishes are pouring in for the couple. Rishikanth took to his official Instagram page to share his excitement about the engagement.
