Leading Tamil actress Sai Pallavi's younger sister Pooja Kannan got engaged to Vineeth on Sunday, January 21, in an intimate ceremony in the presence of family members and close friends. The engagement ceremony has taken place a week after the news of their relationship was first announced on social media. Sharing the happy news and photos from the engagement ceremony on Tuesday, Pooja wrote on Instagram, "A bigger family , fuller hearts and too much love that my heart can’t contain ?? 21.01.24 ??????" (sic)
Dressed in matching traditional attire, we see Pooja looking gorgeous in a silver-gold saree, while Vineeth appears dashing in a kurta-dhoti, with the couple smiling from ear to ear in the photos. Both sides of the family are seen posing for the pictures, with Sai Pallavi yet again charming her way into our hearts with her elegant smile. Last week, Pooja introduced Vineeth in a cute video for the first time writing, "This cute lil button has taught me what it is to love selflessly, being patient and consistent in love and to exist gracefully! This is Vineeth and he is my ray of sunshine ?? I love you my partner in crime and now, my partner !!" (sic)
Pooja Kannan, who has been seen alongside her sister Sai Pallavi on several occasions in family pictures and videos, made her acting debut in the Tamil crime drama film, Chithirai Sevvaanam (2021), which also starred Samuthirakani and marked the directorial debut of stunt choreographer Stunt Silva. Sai Pallavi, on the other hand, will be sharing screen space with Sivakarthikeyan next in the tentatively titled SK 21 being directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy of Rangoon (2017) fame featuring music composed by National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar. She also has in her lineup the much-awaited Telugu film Thandel, which marks her big screen reunion with Naga Chaitanya after their blockbuster, Love Story (2021).
