The screening of her latest Malayalam film, Kho Kho has been stopped due to the current spike in Covid 19 cases in Kerala. The second wave of Corona Virus is getting intense and serious with every passing day and to safeguard the lives of the theatregoers, the makers of Kho Kho have decided to stop the screening of the film. The theatres have been functioning with a 50% occupancy in Kerala. Though the news has saddened the fans, the majority of the audience have appreciated this bold move from the makers of Kho Kho.

Rajisha wrote on her Instagram page, "With a heavy heart we are taking the decision to withdraw Kho Kho from the theatres in Kerala due to the current COVID 19 related crisis. Even though we would have loved to have you watch our film in theatres, we have to keep the health and safety of our audience as the foremost priority. Kindly take all the necessary precautions and stay safe. Kho Kho will reach you through another platform soon. This too shall pass. 🙏🏼".

Kho Kho, which is directed by Rahul Riji Nair, opened to positive reviews from the fans and had a good run at the box office. The film released on April 14 in theatres in Kerala. Produced by First Print Studios, Kho Kho has cinematography by Tobin Thomas and music by Sidhartha Pradeep.
