The third season of Bigg Boss Malayalam is underway and the show is off to a pretty good start. One of the contestants who has garnered good attention this season is Bhagyalakshmi, a popular Malayalam dubbing artist and social activist. Bhagyalakshmi has managed to create a good impact inside the house. However, she was at the receiving end of heartbreaking news during her stay in the house. Bhagyalakshmi's ex-husband Ramesh passed away recently and the news was informed to her with immediate effect. Bigg Boss called Bhagyalakshmi to the confession room and over there, she was told about the demise of her ex-husband.

Immediately, tears started flowing out of Bhagyalakshmi's eyes and she was completely heartbroken hearing the news. When Bigg Boss asked if she wants to quit the show and leave out for the final rites, she was not sure about it. Bhagyalakshmi stated that she doesn't want any commotion or chaos in the funeral event because of her. However, she mentioned that she would want her sons to be there and fulfill the responsibilities. She also recalled some of the beautiful memories that she shared with Ramesh. After coming out of the confession room, Bhagyalakshmi told her other housemates that she needs to leave the house as she felt the audience might get a bad perception of her.

She said she fears if the audience will dislike or hate her since she did not leave for her ex-husband's funeral. However, the other housemates consoled her and made her feel better. Talking about her ex-husband, she mentioned that he was suffering from severe health related problems for the past few years. The visuals of Bhagyalakshmi crying is now going viral on social media and it has indeed made the audience very emotional. It is sad that Bhagyalakshmi has to undergo such a phase when she is inside Bigg Boss house. The fans have been offering their heartfelt condolences on social media.
