Amidst the nationwide lockdown, popular Malayalam actor and producer Chemban Vinod Jose got hitched this morning (April 28). He got married to Mariam Thomas, who is said to be a psychologist, by profession. Chemban got divorced from his first wife, Sunitha in 2018 and this happens to be his second marriage. He took to his official Instagram account to share this good news with his followers. Ever since he shared the news, wishes have been pouring in and notable actors like Soubin Shahir, Vijay Babu, Anumol, Aju Varghese, and director Aashiq Abu have wished the couple.

It is said that the wedding happened as per the guidelines provided by the Government, with the presence of a very limited circle of people. Chemban Vinod, who made his debut as an actor with Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Nayakan, is known for his roles and performances in films like Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (Tamil)/Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram, Iyobinte Pustakam, Charlie, Kali, Oppam, Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil, Ee.Ma.Yau, Maradona, Goli Soda 2 (Tamil), Jallikattu, Big Brother, and so on.

He was last seen in Fahadh Faasil’s Trance, directed by Anwar Rasheed and his performance as Issac Thomas (partner of Gautham Vasudev Menon), earned good reviews. Apart from acting and producing, Chemban has also worked as one of the screenplay writers for Lijo Jose Pellissery’s acclaimed hit film, Angamaly Diaries.
