Sonu Gowda, who was not much in films after getting married, will now make her entry in films with Goa, which was earlier titled as Punythamaru. The film is a remake of Tamil flick Goa directed by Venkat Prabhu, released in 2010.
The film is about the journey of three friends, who escort from their village, hoping for a better future in Goa. The Kannada version stars Komal Kumar, Sriki and Tarun in lead roles.
