Actress Kriti Kharbanda was offered a lead role in Sanju Weds Geetha sequel, which was likely to be directed by Nagashekar. But, the actress who gave her nod first has opted out of the project due to unknown reasons.
Confirming the same Kriti tweeted that she did not sign the sequel officially, but gave her nod to be a part of it. She also added, that things did not go as she expected, hence she backed out. Insiders say she was not happy with the remuneration offered to her.
