KFAA meeting held
A meeting was held at R.V. Dental College, Jayanagar by the Members of the Kannada Film Artists' Association to elect the new office bearers. Actor-politician Ambarish was elected as the president and Dr. Vishnuvardhan as honorary president of the Association; Shivaram is the treasurer.
The KFAA, which comprises�all the artists in Sandalwood, will hold the election for other posts in a few days. The candidates for the vice president are Shivarajkumar, Upendra, B. Saroja and Ravichandran. The committee includes Sashikumar, Puneeth Rajkumar Jaggesh and Darshan. The meeting also decided to start�construction of an office building for the association; the building is set to�be complete�by the end of 2009. The Kannada film industry will take a break for 15 days to celebrate the 'Amruthamahotsava'> All the artists have decided to participate in the function organized by the KFCC (Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce).
