Star actress Amala Paul has been roped in to play a special role in the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil blockbuster, Kaithi. The Hindi remake of Kaithi is getting ready amidst high expectations and it stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, reprising the character played by Karthi. Apart from playing the lead role, Ajay Devgn is also directing the film and it is going to be interesting to see the changes that have been made in the remake. Titled Bholaa, this film is produced by Ajay Devgn Films and T-Series Films in association with Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures.

As per the latest reports, Amala Paul has been roped in to play a special cameo in the film and details regarding her character are kept under wraps. She would start shooting for her portions very soon after which the makers will call it a wrap for the film. Interestingly, this film will mark Amala Paul's debut in Hindi cinema. It is going to be refreshing to see Ajay Devgn and Amala Paul together and more details are awaited. Tabu plays a pivotal character in the film and she would be essaying the character played by Narain in the original version.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu have already shared screen space several times in the past including Vijaypath, Thakshak, Haqeeqat, Drishyam, Golmaal Again, De De Pyaar De, Drishyam 2, and now Bholaa will be their next. Bholaa will mark Ajay Devgn's fourth directorial venture after U, Me Aur Hum, Shivaay, and Runway 34. Bholaa is slated to release in theatres on March 30, 2023. The original film, Kaithi, is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who is currently one of the most sought after filmmakers of South cinema. The film follows the story of Dilli and his journey toward seeing his estranged daughter, after spending ten years in the prison.
