A film that has fans across the nation waiting with bated breath, K. G. F: Chapter 2's shooting is en route to completion and has Yash reprising his role as Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka. Rocky. The first installment, K. G. F: Chapter 1, released in late 2018 went on to become a box office blockbuster and was declared to be the highest-grossing Kannada film of all-time. Dubbed also in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, the period action film received an astounding response after it began streaming on the Amazon Prime Video platform, leading to higher expectations across the country for the upcoming sequel. Being directed by Prashant Neel under Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner, actor John Kokken, who appeared as one of the henchmen and overseer for the villain Garuda played by Ramachandra Raju, has now taken to his Twitter page to reveal that he has finished shooting his portions in KGF: Chapter 2. 

John Kokken wrote on his Twitter page, "And its a wrap for me #kgfchapter2.  So blessed to be a part of this Magnum Opus.  It was an honour to share screen space with ROCKYBHAI @TheNameIsYash and ADHEERA @duttsanjay . Thank you Sir @prashanth_neel for the opportunity, forever grateful to you for this." KGF: Chapter 2's lead Yash too had last week announced that he had completed filming his portions, while sharing a new picture from the film. He tweeted, "They say, All good things come to an end.. it may be the last schedule of KGF but the VILLAIN stays on... forever!!" to which Kokken replied, "Rocky Bhai Its an honour to work with you Sir @TheNameIsYash". 

KGF: Chapter 2 creative producer Karthik Gowda recently revealed that the much-awaited teaser of the film will be released on Yash's birthday on January 8, while assuring fans that it will be on a whole "different level". The film will see the return of Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, with Sanjay Dutt set to make his appearance as the dreaded Adheera. Likewise, several notable names such as Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, Vasishta N Simha, Avinash BS, Achyuth Kumar, Balakrishna are returning to their respective roles from KGF: Chapter 1, while Prakash Raj, Raveena Tandon, Saran Shakthi are some of the new additions to the cast. 

Apart from KGF 2, John Kokken is also a part of Pa. Ranjith's Sarpatta Parambarai, which has Arya playing the lead role. The period boxing film set in the North Madras backdrop during the 1970s, had him undergo a massive physical transformation. John is also awaiting the release of his Kannada films namely Yuvarathnaa starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Sayyeshaa and Upendra's Kabza.
