Video: BCCI and Indian Cricketers promote use of face masks to prevent COVID-19!
Cricket and Cinema are two C's which have the biggest fan following in India and are almost considered to be religions by many! However, the ongoing COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic has rendered both these fields helpless and there has been no new updates in the fields of Cinema or Cricket, due to the nation-wide lockdown in our country! However, many celebrities have come out with videos on their social media apps to urge their followers to take precautionary measures to prevent contracting the deadly Corona Virus and now, it is the turn of the Cricketers! Many former and current cricketers, both from the men's & women's team, have come together in a new video released by the BCCI, to promote the usage of face masks!
This new video released by BCCI, has the Cricket stars urging people to join the #TeamMaskForce by using face masks to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus. Players like Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Harmanpreet Kaur, Mithali Raj, Harbajhan Singh, Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma, feature in the video and urge people to use face masks while stepping out of their houses. Sachin Tendulkar also mentions the importance of washing the hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, towards the end of the video. This initiative by the BCCI comes in a very important time, when most of the Indian states have made using facial masks mandatory, in public!
