Actor turned Kamal Haasan’s action espionage 2013 film, Vishwaroopam, went on to become a massive box office blockbuster drawing in over 100 crores in collections and had a sequel, Vishwaroopam 2, released last year. Among the many highlights in the two films, Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, who played the chief antagonist was lauded by fans and critics for delivering a nuanced performance. Having worked predominantly in Hindi films, Rahul Bose took to his Twitter page to release a video where he is seen talking about being surcharged for two bananas he had ordered at the reputed JW Marriott Hotels in Chandigarh, where he is currently staying to shoot a film. The actor also shows the bill in which he is charged three-hundred and seventy five rupees and an additional sixty seven rupees added through GST with the total coming to 442 rupees.
A critically acclaimed actor Rahul Bose is known for taking up roles that offers plenty of scope for performance while also directing three films till date and also trying his hand at playback singing. A stage actor, he was also part of the first Indian national rugby team to participate in an international event, the Asian Rugby Football Union Championship, and is known for taking part in the 2004 Tsunami relief efforts, while also serving as the founder of the anti-discrimination NGO, The Foundation.
