"This is not a stereotypical answer but...": Kajal Aggarwal's exciting statement about Kamal Haasan's Indian 2

Leading actress Kajal Aggarwal is playing a key role in 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Indian 2 being directed by ace filmmaker Shankar. As known already, she will be seen in major action sequences and had undergone rigorous training, with pictures showing her in preparation for her role taking social media by storm sometime back. With a major chunk of filming on Indian 2 already wrapped, Kajal Aggarwal spoke to the media at a recent event and shed some light on her role in the political film. "It's a very exciting role. I can't tell you too much about it. They'll kill me. Trust me, it's going to be very different. I've never done something like that. And, this is not a stereotypical answer but, genuinely," she said. 

There's a lot of secrecy surrounding Indian 2 and the roles each of the actors are portraying in the film, which will include music being composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander. Although not much is known about her role in the film, we know that she will be seen amidst the action, which has raised a lot of curiosity among fans, with massive interest already surrounding Kamal Haasan reprising Senapathy once again from the 1996 blockbuster, Indian. Shankar, who has been shuffling his time for Indian 2 along with his Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Game Changer starring Ram Charan, is reportedly looking to wrap the production on the upcoming Kamal Haasan-starrer this month. 

Jointly being produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners, Indian 2 is expected to arrive in theatres either toward the end of the year or in early 2024, with fans eagerly looking forward to the first visuals soon. The film will see Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal sharing screen space with an ensemble star cast featuring the likes of Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, and late actors Vivek and Manobala, among others in key roles.
