Ahead of the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 14 on October 3, the smash hit reality TV show's host Salman Khan took part in a virtual press conference on Thursday and provided for the first time a brief tour of the new house. Pictures of the Bigg Boss 14 house shared by the makers on social media have since gone viral, with many praising the new set where the contestants will be spending the next few months. 

In the latest pictures released on Colors TV's social media pages, Salman Khan introduces us to the new features in the Bigg Boss 14 house, which include an in-house mall, a theatre, a spa and a restaurant. Salman had earlier stated that the upcoming season will focus on entertainment and based on the pictures fans are already convinced the makers have once again stood strong on their words. Bigg Boss 14 will be Salman Khan's eleventh season as the show's host. The Bollywood superstar further spoke about how he had spent his time during the lockdown period at his Panvel farmhouse, where he has been staying with his family. He also addressed the safety precautions that have been considered for Bigg Boss 14. 

Apart from the first glimpse at the Bigg Boss 14 house, Salman Khan announced the first contestant of the show to be Jaan Kumar Sanu, son of acclaimed playback singer and Padma Shri recipient Kumar Sanu. Jaan Kumar Sanu was announced to be participating in the show as a contestant during the virtual press conference, which also saw Bigg Boss 13 winner Siddharth Shukla, including former contestants Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan taking part. Jaan told Salman, "Sir, I'm quite nervous since I'm meeting you for the first time ever in my life. I feel like my entire body is trembling. I've been your fan even before I came to know the amount of work my father had done with you. I feel a bit dazed with your presence,". 

Siddharth Shukla, who welcomed Jaan as the new member of the house, provided him with some "awesome tips" to see that his journey turns out to be a memorable one. "You need to be yourself, be real and stand up for anything that you feel is right," Sidharth told Jaan. Earlier, Salman Khan has stated that he is open to seeing a reduction in his remuneration for Bigg Boss 14 and said he would be willing to take a smaller paycheck so that the Bigg Boss 14 unit does not suffer, especially during current times.
