As we all know Sidharth Malhotra is all set to be seen in the upcoming cop-based web series, Indian Police Force, by Rohit Shetty. The upcoming web series of Rohit Shetty for Amazon Prime Video is the talk of the town and has been the topic of discussion ever since it was announced. According to the makers, Indian Police Force pays an ode to the selfless service, unconditional commitment, and fierce patriotism of police officers across the country who put everything on the line in their call of duty to keep everyone safe.
We have seen the announcement video which featured both director Rohit Shetty and the star of the show, Sidharth Malhotra, in donning his new cop avatar. It was then announced that model turned actress Shilpa Shetty has also been roped in to be a part of the show. Rohit Shetty has now come forward to announce that Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is the latest addition to the cast of the director's debut series.
Unable to contain the excitement from this wonderful news, the actor took to his own official Twitter handle to make a public announcement to the world regarding his inclusion in the series. Sharing the first look of himself from the upcoming web series, he wrote, "Charged to join the best force : “Indian Police Force” and be a supercop in the Rohit Shetty Cop universe! Oberoi is known for starring in blockbusters such as Company, Yuva, Kaal, Omkara, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and Krrish 3, as well as in another Amazon Prime Video series Inside Edge. These powerhouse actors coming together for this high-octane venture have been increasing the excitement and anticipation amongst fans with each passing day. The series will debut on Amazon Prime Video and it will have eight episodes. It will be jointly directed by Rohit Shetty and his Chief Assistant Director Sushwanth Prakash. The series is currently being shot in Mumbai and will most likely release next year.
