'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo is out in theatres worldwide and the film took a phenomenal start at the box office earning 148.5+ crores in worldwide collections on day 1. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the mass-action entertainer has been delighting audiences, while also including a number of surprises among which was popular actress Madonna Sebastian's special appearance. Known best her for debut in the Malayalam blockbuster Premam (2015), Madonna took to social media on Saturday, October 21, to express her gratitude to audiences for their feedback on her appearance in Vijay's Leo. Prior to the release of Leo, there was buzz that Madonna Sebastian would be making an appearance alongside Vijay and the rest of the cast in a few crucial scenes, with the confirmation coming in only on opening day when audiences witnessed her in action on the big screen. Even before the release of the film, the news of the possible casting was met with a huge response, with her appearance finally being welcomed in a grand manner in cinemas. Madonna, who debuted in Tamil cinema in Vijay Sethupathi's Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum (2016), has since been seen in films Kavan (2017), Pa Paandi (2017), Junga (2018) Vaanam Kottatum (2020), and Kombu Vatcha Singamda (2022).
Apart from Madonna Sebastian's guest appearance in Leo, the 'Thalapathy' Vijay film also stars Trisha as the female lead, followed by Sanjay Dutt playing the main antagonist, with Arjun, Mysskin, and Sandy master seen in negative roles, while the supporting cast includes Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, among others. With the film opening on a staggering note in theatres worldwide, there is buzz that it will go on to become one of the most significant box-office successes in Tamil cinema history.
