Koogle Kuttappa is an upcoming Tamil sci-fi comedy-drama film directed by debutants Sabari and Saravanan and produced by K. S. Ravikumar under the RK Celluloids banner and co-produced by Kallal Global Entertainment. Renowned ace director, producer, and actor K. S. Ravikumar, who is credited with several blockbuster Tamil films, will be seen playing the lead in the film that has been dubbed as a ‘humanoid’ entertainer. The movie also stars Tharshan, Losliya, and Yogi Babu who will be seen appearing in prominent roles. The film's music is composed by Ghibran, with cinematography handled by Arvi and editing done by Praveen Antony. The one-of-a-kind Tamil comedy-drama, Koogle Kuttappa, will release across theatres on 6 May 2022.
Both the directors who have directed Koogle Kuttappa are actually Ravi Kumar's assistant directors and director K. S. Ravikumar has disclosed that he chose to get into film production after almost a period of 20 years with this film for their sake. The film is a remake of the popular Malayalam hit film Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 which was released way back in 2019, written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval. The film chronicled the life of an old man who develops a strong bond with a humanoid nurse. The robotic nurse has been sent by his son to take care of his father. But although Koogle Kuttappa is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film, the makers have apparently altered some parts of the story to cater to the likes of the Tamil audiences.
The movie has already captivated its potential audience as well as the general public with its interesting trailers, teasers, posters, songs, and also with its subject matter. Now the makers of the movie have dropped a sneak peek just a few days before the film's release as a special treat for the fans and all those who are eagerly waiting for the film.
