Chakra is an upcoming action thriller that stars Vishal in the lead role and it will be his next big release after Action. Produced by Vishal Film Factory, Chakra is directed by debutant MS Anand (a former associate of Ezhil) and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Chakra’s story will deal with the online e-commerce frauds and scams that take place in the city. The film will also have additional subplots that will make the proceedings interesting. The latest update is that an exciting announcement about the film is going to be made on June 22, coming Monday.

It looks like the announcement will be about the release of the film’s teaser as the makers had stated a few days back that the teaser is ready and will release very soon. Going by that, we may witness the teaser release announcement on June 22, but we will have to wait for an official word. As far as the shooting is concerned, the team is left with one more week of shoot and it will be completed as soon as the permission is granted by the Tamil Nadu Government.

Chakra features Shraddha Srinath as the female lead, while Regina Cassandra, Srushti Dange, K.R.Vijaya, Robo Shankar, Manobala form the supporting cast.
