Thalapathy Vijay took the internet by storm late on Tuesday (August 11th) as he posted pictures of himself planting a sapling as part of the ongoing Green India Challenge. Vijay was nominated by his longtime friend and Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu who himself planted a sapling on his birthday a few days back. Notably, Mahesh Babu had nominated Jr NTR and Shruti Haasan along with Vijay in his post. Accepting the challenge for the noble cause, Vijay planted a sapling and thanked Mahesh Babu for nominating him.

Mahesh Babu also thanked Vijay for taking up the challenge and wrote, "Thanks a lot brother for taking this.. Stay safe!"

Vijay looked cool and charming in the pictures he posted which went viral on social media in an instant. The initiative got the eyes of everyone as wishes and support poured in from everywhere making it the big topic of the day.
