It has been officially revealed that the Master actor has made a huge donation of Rs 1.3 crores in total towards the Corona relief fund. Vijay has donated 50 lakhs to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s relief fund and 25 Lakhs to PM - CARES relief fund. It is a widely known fact that Vijay enjoys a humongous fan base in Kerala and his films always have a grand opening there. As a mark of love and gratitude, Vijay has donated Rs 10 lakhs towards Kerala Chief Minister’s relief fund.

To help the daily wage workers, who are part of the Tamil film industry, Vijay has donated an amount of 25 lakhs to FEFSI union. More importantly, Vijay has also made donations towards other south Indian states including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The split up of his donation is as follows:
