Popular Indian singer Shweta Pandit fell in love and got married to popular Italian film producer, Ivano Fucci in 2016. The super talented artist is now blessed with a girl baby. Shweta, who is currently residing in Florence, Italy, took to her official Instagram space to share this good news with her followers and well-wishers. It has been revealed that the girl baby was born on February 8, this year, but the couple decided to keep it under wraps as the outside world was panicking due to the Coronavirus.

In her recent interview with Times of India, Shweta was quoted as saying, “It didn’t feel right to share our happiest news when everything around us was so difficult. The COVID-19 crisis in Italy was worse than it is in India currently. But now that the lockdown here is almost getting lifted, Ivano and I decided to share our happiness.” The couple has named the baby girl, Izana, which means ‘most powerful’.

For the uninformed, Shweta Pandit has various chartbuster numbers to her credit and has sung songs in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. In Kollywood, she is known for her collaborations with Yuvan Shankar Raja in films like Billa 2, Aadhi Bhagavan, Vettai, Anjaan, etc. Her last song in Tamil was ‘Never Let Me Go’ track from Harish Kalyan - Raiza starrer Pyaar Prema Kaadhal.
