SS Rajamouli is debatably the most wanted Indian director after the unbelievable success of his previous films Baahubali 1 and 2. The director announced that he would be bringing together two leading Telugu stars for his next project! Titled RRR, this new movie has Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead and is said to be a fictitious tale based on the lives of two famous freedom fighters - Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. This is a period movie set in the 1920's and is to have a simultaneous release in 10 languages. This film which was slated to hit the screens on July 30, 2020, now been pushed to January 2021.
The makers have now made this news official via Twitter, their statement reads as follows: “Your love and support have made all our hard work and hectic schedules worthwhile! We are working round the clock to give you a cinematic experience like never before. And with a huge worldwide release planned, we have had to postpone the date of release. We understand this is a disappointment, but there's going to be a lot to look forward to because this only gives us more time to bring the best to you. #RRR will hit the screens on January 8th, 2021! We know the wait is long but we promise to keep giving you updates in the meanwhile. #RRROnJan8th.”

Several top actors who were earlier planning to have a release for Sankranti 2021 might have to rethink now since the boss (SS Rajamouli) will be having his film released.
