Having established himself as one of the most promising stars of Tollywood, Nithiin went through a lean phase before making a comeback of sorts in a cameo in 2019's successful venture Gaddalakonda Ganesh! This young talent has already begun this new decade on a successful note with his latest release Bheeshma getting rave reviews from all quarters. This romantic comedy, directed by Venky Kudumula, saw Nithiin pairing up with Rashmika Mandanna and the movie is going strong at the theatres. Now, we have yet another exciting update for Nithiin's fans!

It has come to light today morning that Nithiin would be reprising Ayushmann Khurrana's role from the blockbuster Hindi movie Andhadhun, in its Telugu remake! This movie is to be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and is being bankrolled by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy, under the Sreshth Movies banner and will be presented by B Madhu. The movie was launched with a formal pooja today morning and the shoot is set to get underway from June of this year. Details of the rest of the cast and crew are awaited.

Nithiin has his hands full with upcoming projects Rang De, Nithiin 28 and Nithiin 30, with directors like Chandra Sekar Yeleti, Venky Aturi and Krishna Chaitanya. The Bollywood movie Andhadhun, which released in 2018, is a black comedy, crime thriller, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, Radhika Apte and Anil Dhawan in the lead, was directed by Sriram Raghavan. This movie became a blockbuster hit and is also being remade in Tamil with Top Star Prashanth reprising Ayushmann's role and director Mohan Raja helming it.
