Mehbooba, the Telugu romantic drama film directed by Puri Jagannadh was produced by Puri Connects that is owned by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. The film stars Akash Puri and Vishu Reddy in the lead roles with Murali Sharma and Shiyaji Shinde playing an important role. The film has music composed by Sandeep Chowta, dop by Vishu Sarma, editing by Junaid Siddiqui and art by Jonny Shaik. The story of Mehbooba is set up in the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Roshan (Akash Puri) aims to join the army. Afreen is a Pakistani girl who comes to India for studies. The young couple crosses each other’s path only to find out that they have been reincarnated from the 1971 Indo-Pak war. How they overcome the hurdle and come together forms the rest of the story.
