Taapsee Pannu's upcoming film tiled Thappad has caught the attention of everyone following its impressive trailer that came out a few days back. Thappad is directed by Anubhav Sushila Sinha and is produced by Bhushan Sudesh Kumar, Krishan Krishna Kumar, and Anubhav Sushila Sinha under the banner of Benaras Media Works and T-Series. The movie has Pavail Gulati as the other lead with names Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Dia Mirza, Ram Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, Manav Kaul, Gracy Goswami and Sandeep Yadav playing supporting roles. Thappad has songs by Anurag Saikia and background score by Mangesh Dhakde. The flick has cinematography by Soumik Mukherjee and editing by Yasha Ramchandani.

With huge expectation, Thappad hit the silver screens today (Friday 28th) and the film has opened to positive reviews from all around. The film is off to a great start and is expected to do a good job at the box-office. Hayo Rabba is the new video song to be released from the movie and the song sung by Suvarna Tiwari has music by Anurag Saikia with the lyrics penned by Shakeel Azmi.
