Forensic, the Malayalam investigation crime thriller film starring Tovino Thomas, Mamta Mohandas and Reba Monica John in lead roles is written and directed by the duo Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. This flick also features Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup, Prathap Pothan, Mohan Sharma, Anwar Shereef, Rony David, Ramu, Srikanth Murali and Dhanesh Anand in other important roles. Forensic is bankrolled by Navis Xavier and Siju Mathew under the production house Juvis Productions in association with Raju Malliath and Ragam Movies. Jakes Bejoy has handled the music and background score of the film. This film is about a forensic analyst and an investigation officer who are on a chase to hunt down a gruesome serial killer and crack one of the most famous cold cases in the history of their departments.

Forensic opened with a wide and excellent response from the public with housefull shows all over the region. The film is running successfully, becoming Tovino Thomas's all-time highest opening for a film in Kerala, grossing Rs 2.14 crore.
