Now, we have news about Chiranjeevi's next! It has been announced that Chiru would be starring in the Telugu remake of the superhit Malayalam movie Lucifer, which marked Prithviraj's directorial debut. Saaho director Sujeeth has been finalised as the director of this remake! Lucifer, based on politics and an underworld don, is said to be a trilogy with the subsequent two parts, being in the pipeline.
Earlier, Trisha was touted to play the female lead in Chiranjeevi's Acharya but she walked out of the project citing creative differences and later signed up for Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. However, latest reports from Tollywood state Chiranjeevi as quoting that there were no creative differences between the Acharya team and Trisha and that he was surprised over her walking out. In view of the Corona Virus lockdown, Chiranjeevi made his debut on social media and has been interacting with his fans through his handles.
